小高い丘の上に建つ平塚神社。
その崖に沿うように走る「蝉坂」は7月頃から数十本のサルスベリ（百日紅）が咲き誇ります。
濃いピンクから淡いピンクまで、色味も様々で壮観です。
サムネイルにもなっている、神社から見下ろすサルスベリ回廊（勝手にそう呼んでいます）がお気に入りです。
ピンク色に色付く通りを、地元の方々が汗をぬぐいながら行き交う様子が素敵で、映画のワンシーンのよう。
場所は境内ではないですが、神社も手入れが行き届いていて素敵なのでぜひ訪れて欲しいと思いました。
Hiratsuka Shrine is built on top of a small hill.
``Semi-zaka'', which runs along the cliff, is where dozens of crape myrtles are in full bloom from around July.
The colors range from deep pink to light pink and are spectacular.
My favorite is the Crape Myrtle Corridor (as I like to call it) overlooking the shrine, which is also in the thumbnail.
It's wonderful to see local residents wiping their sweat as they walk down the pink-colored streets, almost like a scene from a movie.
Although the location is not within the shrine grounds, the shrine is well-maintained and beautiful, so I thought it would be a good idea to visit.

祭神
八幡太郎　源義家命（はちまんたろう　みなもとのよしいえのみこと）
賀茂次郎　源義綱命　（かもじろう　みなもとのよしつなのみこと）
新羅三郎　源義光命（しんらさぶろうみなもとのよしみつのみこと）
創立は平安後期元永年中と伝わる。
八幡太郎源義家が奥州征伐の凱旋途中にこの地を訪れ、領主の豊島太郎近義に鎧を与えた。
近義はその鎧を埋めて塚を築き、自らの城の鎮守とした。
さらに社殿を建てて義家・義綱・義光の三兄弟を祀ったが、塚は高さがなかったことから「平塚」と呼ばれたので「平塚三所大明神」となった。

It is said that it was founded in the late Heian period, during the Gen'ei era.
Hachiman Taro Minamoto no Yoshiie visited this area on his triumphant return from the Oshu conquest and gave armor to the feudal lord, Toshima Taro Chikayoshi.
Chikayoshi buried the armor, built a mound, and used it as the guardian of his castle.
Furthermore, a shrine building was built to enshrine the three brothers Yoshiie, Yoshitsuna, and Yoshimitsu, but because the mound was not tall, it was called ``Hiratsuka,'' so it became ``Hiratsuka Sansho Daimyojin.''
